The year that was 2010/11 for Brideoake Racing. Some of the highlights for the season were: 

  • Finished in the top 20 metropolitan trainers for Vic (12 wins  & 22 minor placings) with the highest strike rate in the top 20 - and with less than 15 horses racing at any given time - phenomenal!!
  • Over $900,000 in prizemoney with less than 130 runners in TOTAL to race - included 30 wins at 22.00% - amazing! 
  • Multiple black type with a Group 3 win, a Group 1 placing behind Black Caviar and numerous placings at listed and group level. 
  • The Brideoake Stable had winners ranging from 1000m to 2600m including a listed second over two miles! 

 


Welcome to Brideoake Racing

David is one of the most prominent racehorse trainers in Victoria and has had many successes that range from winning the Grand National Steeplechase to winning the Group 1 West Australian Derby, the Group 3 West Australian Oaks and Auraria Stakes plus numerous Listed victories.

David is based on the picturesque Mornington Peninsula and trains from both his farm 'Wellington Park' and the Mornington Racecourse training facility. 

In 2007/08, David produced winners in two Listed races, a Group 3 and a Group 1 and earnt over $800,000 in prize money.

In 2008/09, Brideoake Racing had 190 runners who were in the money 94 times for over $350,000 in prize money. 

In 2009/10, David had the 2yo listed winner Warm Love (Queen Adelaide Stakes - Morphettville) and the stable runners were in the money over 65 times from only 136 starters.

The 2010/11 season is drawing to a close and looks to be one of our best yet. Davids strike rate is sitting at an amazing 21.00% and rates amongst the best in Victoria. Stay tuned for our full 2010/11 stats after August 1.
